Because of the contract, I stayed in the hostel for 10 nights. For the details of the hostel, please find it below.

I don’t know if you like hostels or not. I really enjoy staying in a hostel. It’s more affordable, and I can meet various kinds of people.

I’m going to share some little stories that happened in the hostel.

A Chinese girl who invited me to join a walking tour with her

Right after waking up on the first morning, I met a Chinese girl who has stayed in Europe for over 7 years. We had breakfast together, and she invited me to join a walking tour with her.

Yes. We just knew each other for 2 hours.

It was my very first time attending a walking tour. The experience was wonderful. The guide helped us establish a connection with the city.

The buildings and streets are full of stories. I could see clues of the interactions among European Kingdoms in ancient times via the architectural design.

As a newcomer to Copenhagen, it was great to know the city more. As for what I learned from the tour, please visit 04 Little Things about Copenhagen.

🔽 Walking tour in Copenhagen:

The tip is about 40~50 DDK. Cash (both DDK and Euro) and a credit card are acceptable.

A party girl never came back to the room

She was my roommate. However, I was not sure if I could call her “roommate” because I had never seen her.

According to other roommates, she is absolutely a party girl.

She looks super hot although she has a boyfriend.
She books a bed in the hostel although her boyfriend lives in Copenhagen.
She never comes back although her pieces of stuff are in the room.

How interesting (and weird), isn’t it?

A Turkish girl traveling alone

She is yoga-addicted. A big fan of yoga.

She gave me a traditional Turkish candy called “Turkish delight.” The texture is hard to describe. Soft but chewy. I had the coffee flavor. That’s so cool.

Most importantly, it is a good way to make new friends.

An Italian girl majoring in conducting

We stayed in the same room for days.

She was busy since she came to Copenhagen for learning conducting (short visit only).

A conductor is the one standing in front of the orchestra. It looks easy. Actually, I know how difficult it is.

She has visited Copenhagen for times. In her opinion, Italy is even colder than Copenhagen in January. My face was like 😳.

How come? It doesn’t make sense when it comes to latitude!

So… I will probably need to postpone my plan of visiting Italy.
